Action Plan

The Long Tom Watershed Council Action Plan consists of the 2009 - 2012 Council Work Plan, the Strategic Plan and the Conservation Strategy. Click on the links below to view the complete documents. Please contact the Council if you wish to become involved.

2009-2011 COUNCIL WORK PLAN

A summary of the 2009 - 2011 Council Work Plan is now available as a one-page outline of the Council's goals, objectives, and priorities for the next two years. There are many volunteers helping to achieve the work plan and meet the goals of our grant from the Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board (OWEB).

CONSERVATION STRATEGY

Click to read our Conservation Strategy. This document outlines how the Council addresses issues related to water quality, conserving and restoring habitat, and maintaining the overall health of the Long Tom Watershed. A brief description of each major habitat type found within the watershed is included, along with a list of commonly found plants and animals as well as species of interest.

STRATEGIC PLAN (draft)

Click to read a draft of our Strategic Plan for 2009 - 2012. This document is intended to express goals and strategies for a 3-5 year time period, and it expands upon the Council's mission and vision statement in our Mission and Goals page.
