Administrative Assistant Job Announcement (updated!)

Full-time, shared position between Long Tom Watershed Council and McKenzie River Trust

The Long Tom Watershed Council (LTWC) and McKenzie River Trust (MRT) are excited to announce a position opening for a shared, full-time role that will support the program and administrative function of both LTWC and MRT with integrity and efficiency. The Administrative Assistant will be an integral part of a support team for each organization and for the partnership. S/he will participate in a wide range of administrative activities, including recordkeeping, correspondence, and direct contact with staff and board, as well as members of the public. The job also includes records management, scheduling, and coordinating logistics for board and other meetings. The successful candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience in office administration, and will be highly organized with strong interpersonal communication skills.

As shared staff, this position will also have an important, prominent role in stewarding the relationships and spirit of collaboration between LTWC and MRT. The ideal candidate will have a strong disposition and enthusiasm for supporting and ensuring the success of the partnership, and a strong connection to the missions of both organizations.

The Administrative Assistant will split time 50/50 between the Long Tom Watershed Council and McKenzie River Trust offices. Supervisors will work closely to jointly support the Administrative Assistant, including providing coordinated orientation, work planning, professional development, and schedules to accommodate projects at each site.
