This year’s event will be outdoors at an oak and prairie restoration project location about one mile southwest of Eugene at the Texter property along Hazel Dell Road. You’ll be able to enjoy some beautiful fall views! The site is nestled among gently rolling hills and has several gorgeous mature oak trees. The property is part of four adjacent landowners all working together to restore rare oak and prairie habitat.

Lewis (Confederated Tribes of the Grande Ronde) who will present Indigenous stewardship and cultural contexts of the watershed. Also, Kalapuya Elder Esther Stutzman and Shannin Stutzman will speak about Indigenous connections, people, and place.
