Ideas to help reduce the amount of herbicide and fertilizer/lawn food you use:
- Try 1/2 the recommended amount and see if results are good,
before adding more that might end up in the stream if it was extra! - Apply only in dry conditions – before watering or before rain will increase chances of it be washed into the stream.
- Apply only on the target – any extra product on the borders or sidewalk will wash into the stream as pollution.
