Volunteer Spotlight – Mike Brinkley

“The Long Tom Watershed Council is a wonderful organization. It’s very well managed and its financials are very healthy. The Long Tom Watershed Council is continually looking for new ways to outreach to the community.”

Mike Brinkley joined the Long Tom Watershed Council Board of Directors in 2010 after he retired and returned to the Eugene area from California. Mike Brinkley has been involved in numerous important LTWC projects. The Cutthroat Migration Study has been an important project to Mike because it allowed him to enjoy the outdoors and interact with the fish. He has enjoyed the opportunity of the last three years of the Cutthroat Migration Study and looks forward to the upcoming year. Mike hopes that his contributions to the Long Tom Watershed Council will benefit his grandchildren who will one day enjoy the Long Tom River Basin.
