Volunteer Spotlight – Larry Huff

“Working with the Long Tom Watershed Council and the ODFW, I’m able to give back for the clean air, clean water, good food, and the beauty I see in nature.”

Larry Huff joined the Long Tom Watershed Council in 2011 after he returned to earn his Watershed Technician degree at Lane Community College. Larry volunteers for several Long Tom Watershed Council projects but has worked most closely on the Cutthroat Trout Migration Study. He has enjoyed the opportunity to gain experience while giving back to his community. Larry has been an important member of the Long Tom Watershed Council and hopes that his contributions will support building a relationship between humans and other species and sustain the beauty of nature.
