LTWC is hosting a free public meeting to present the Long Tom River Habitat Enhancement Plan and discuss alternatives to provide fish passage at Monroe, which is currently blocked by a small check dam.

The plan is a summary and prioritization of the information, ideas, and habitat enhancement opportunities generated by the convening of multiple Steering Committee meetings of local stakeholders and conversations with neighbors along the Long Tom River. We’ll present what we have heard from the community and the possible alternatives at the dam site. This meeting is an opportunity for watershed stakeholders to review the main content of the draft plan and provide comment.

All are welcome and encouraged to attend!

Light refreshments provided.
