Essex General Construction is located on W. 7th Ave right along Amazon Creek. When Jon, the owner, found out about LTWC’s Trout Friendly Landscape Pledge, he was excited to jump on board. LTWC advised on the installation of a series of rain gardens that flow into one another, treating 800 sq. ft of roof service, delaying and filtering the stormwater before it enters Amazon Creek. Essex General Construction is a finalist for the 2016 Eugene Mayor’s Bold Steps Award.
