Gibson Steel Basins

This 2,800 sq ft rain garden treats 65,340 sq ft  – that’s an acre and a half – of impervious surface! During installation, non-native and invasive plants were removed to make room for native species.  During the first summer, a pair of ducks chose to raise their young in the rain garden until it dried up.  They may be the reason why the bullfrogs, who also moved in, disappeared.  Then again, that could have been the Facilities Manager honing his jigging skills.
