Join the Long Tom Watershed Council and the Benton Soil and Water Conservation District for a screening of Freshtwaters Illustrated’s incredible film UPRIVER: A Film For the Willamette
The film focuses on the value of a community approach to conservation and features incredible aerial and under water cinematography, great story-telling, and a novel approach to telling the story of conservation in the Willamette valley. A story of collaboration in conservation in the Willamette watershed, the film features LTWC project landowners from Stroda Brothers Farms, and LTWC board member Steve Horning’s project with Greenbelt Land Trust at his Deerhaven Farms property. The event is being hosted by the Benton SWCD in cooperation with the Long Tom Watershed Council. The film will start at the Monroe Public Library at 380 N. 5th Street in Monroe, OR at 7pm, with a Q&A session after the film at 8pm.
