Indigenous Land Management Practices Workshops: Scholarships Available!

The Upper Willamette Stewardship Network (UWSN) is a collaboration between 6 non-Indigenous stewardship organizations working to more effectively engage with Tribal members and Native people to meaningfully and sustainably reorient land and water conservation work to center Native perspectives. UWSN is providing 8 scholarships for local Native people to participate in six workshops on the landscape later this year.

May 17: Scenic Spring Woodland Walk

We’re offering a limited attendance, RSVP-only guided walk on May 17, 6-8 p.m., of scenic oak woodland and prairie habitat along the Long Tom River. This walk is in cooperation with our partners at WREN in the West Eugene Wetlands and will be led by local naturalist Rick Ahrens.
