Hosted by Upper Willamette Soil & Water Conservation District

The Upper Willamette Soil and Water Conservation District (UWSWCD) in conjunction with several regional partners, including LTWC, are hosting a “Conservation Opportunities Night” for rural landowners to learn about agricultural and conservation resources available. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and hear from area technical service providers about cost-share programs, grant funding opportunities, farm equipment rentals, restoration opportunities, and sustainable land management. Participating partners include staff from the UWSWCD, Oregon State University Extension Service, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), the Oregon Association of Conservation Districts, the Upper Willamette Stewardship Network’s Working Lands Program, as well as staff from the Long Tom Watershed Council.

The event is free and open to the public, so invite your neighbors! It will be held October 25th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Bennett Vineyards, 25974 Highway 36, Cheshire. There will be a free raffle for numerous prizes including (but not limited to) a three series painting, a Jackalope, several bottles of wine and gift cards.
