Stream & Riparian Habitat Restoration at Confluence Farms on Ferguson Creeks

Confluence Farms has over 2.3 miles of Ferguson and South Fork Ferguson Creek. The property’s size and proximity to several other LTWC restoration projects made this a high priority site to connect these projects into an extended corridor of improved fish and wildlife habitat. LTWC placed 110 pieces of large wood in the streams to create log jams, planted 29,000 native trees and shrubs on over 20 acres, and re-graded an existing rocked crossing over South Fork Ferguson Creek to allow year-round migration of native fish.
